Life Education - Heart Central

During weeks 2 and 3 we will be getting a visit from Harold and the Life Education mobile classroom.  The Year 4 topic will be Heart Central.  In this unit we are invited onto Harold's Mystery train trip around the human body.  We meet Charlie the conductor and the team from Heart Central Station as they guide us through the circulatory system.  We are going to explore the main circulatory system organs including:

• heart
• lungs
• arteries
• veins
• kidneys
• muscles
• brain

The main focus is to discover what the organs of the circulatory system do and how they work, increasing our understanding of the human body.
