Heroes and Villains - Fairy Tales!

This term our inquiry unit for Heroes and Villains is Fairy Tales.  As part of this unit we will be:

• Investigating the particular characteristics of fairy tales
• Exploring the way fairy tales can reflect modern society and the way people interact with each other.
• Exploring the roles of 'good' and 'bad' characters

Are there things that always happen in a fairy tale?

Do fairy tales have a message?

What is a ‘good’ or ‘bad’ character in a fairy tale?

Who are the authors of some famous fairy tales?

What is the connection between fairy tales and our social values?

How can we write our own/shared fairy tale?

How can we publish/present our fairy tale?
